I thought you might enjoy Switchfoot’s latest video, Awakening.

Music legend Dick Dale gives an on-the-street interview in answer to the question “any good words of advice you can give to up-and-coming musicians?”.

I’m sure that each record label is a little different, and that many Christian labels aren’t at all as Dale’s characterization suggests. I’m also sure that his advice is based on a lot of history. Decide for yourself:

I was just doing some other stuff, and wondered whether you’d like to watch a Switchfoot video. I don’t watch a lot of online music videos, since I’m usually busy working and listening to the same songs. Here’s Oh! Gravity…

Red is back from Germany, where they had a great tour. They report that their single Breathe Into Me will hit radio stations in February…but you can hear it now on their website.

Better than that, you can WATCH it. They’ve put up the Breathe Into Me video, which is pretty well-done…if you’ve been looking for a new hard-hitting band, Red just might be it. Their video is WMV, so you’ll need Windows Media Player (or an equivalent)…those who have it can double-click and view the video full screen. Nice.

Jeremy Camp has just released a new video for Tonight, the latest single from his album Beyond Measure. Some of the imagery made me think of Matchbox 20, and in a good way.

The message of this song, like lots of Jeremy’s music, is powerful…you should see it at least once, and - if you like it - pass it on at least once as well. It’s on Yahoo Video, and if you look closely you can also watch the video for You Take Me Back.

Legendary CCM group Acappella has released a new video of Lord, Save Me. Having listened to Acappella’s stuff for years, I have to say that the new guys in the group sound as good as any arrangement I’ve heard so far. The link came in an email newsletter, and I couldn’t find the same link on their website…so I’m posting the direct link to the WMV file here.
