Stop the Process

I heard a good speaker the other day: Sean Dunn of Groundwire Ministries. He said something that bears repeating…

While addressing a room full of ministers, he pointed out the fact that moral weakness is a major cause of failure for those in positions of leadership. We all knew that, of course. What he said next hit home:

To avoid moral weakness, we have to stop the process.

Sin isn’t an accident. It’s the result of creeping compromises. It’s an incremental process that we allow to occur by looking the other way. To keep ourselves from letting moral weakness become a problem, we must stop the process.

Thanks, Sean!
